Did you know that more than 900 children between the ages of 1 year and 14 years die each year in drowning accidents? In California, drowning is the number one cause of accidental death for children 1-4 years of age. Knowing these statistics, it makes good sense to try to prevent these types of accidents from happening. Having a Pool Protector Pool Alarm automatically sounds an alarm whenever children or pets fall into your unsupervised pool. It will also alarm you of unauthorized intruders in your pool. The electronic monitoring system is simple to operate and is completely portable to take anywhere. The alarm’s electronic sensor is triggered by entry into the pool, sounding a loud pulsating alarm in the unit and from the remote receiver in your house. It is very easy to install. It simply sits on the pools deck, and once activated, it is always in the alarm ready mode until you put it in sleep mode. It cannot be deactivated. If someone who does not know how to put the alarm in sleep mode, tries to remove it, it will sound the alarm. This device can help prevent drowning accidents from happening. Do we really need to be reminded by these statistics to do everything we can to keep our children safe?

Have you ever felt drowsy while driving? Chances are you have or know someone who has. Some people have actually fallen asleep while driving only to be awakened by the blaring horn of an oncoming car or truck. If this has happened to you, you may want to consider the NAP ALARM. This small device is worn over the ear (similar to a Bluetooth) that has an electronic position sensor, so when your head nods forward, it sounds an alarm to instantly wake you and alert passengers. It’s not only for drivers; it is also perfect for people who need to be fully awake like security guards, machine operators and even students while studying or where concentration is required. This device could potentially save your life or the life of your loved ones.

I was at the mall, at a large department store, with my 4 year old daughter, when she decided to run off out of my sight. Frantically, I yelled out her name continually, but could neither hear her nor see her. Fortunately, a nice lady held her hand and directed her back to me. I will never forget the fear and panic I experienced that day. Since that time a device worn by the child could prevent that from happening to you. The cartoon animal-shaped transmitter, worn on the child’s wrist, sends a constant signal to the receiver which is held by the adult. What I like about this device is that the signal is adjustable – ranging from a distance of 3 to 21 feet. When the child goes beyond the set distance, the adult’s receiver starts to beep, letting them know the child is starting to wander off. I now let all my friends and family members with children and grandchildren know they can feel safe knowing the Child Guard Panda is available for their child’s protection.

The Chicago Crime Commission states that a burglar spends an average of 8 minutes in the victim’s home. Put the odds in your favor… hide your valuables in plain sight.
The first place a burglar will look is in the bedroom of your home. More than half of the time the thief will spend in your home will be in your bedroom, looking in the usual hiding places like the sock and underwear drawer…in the closet on a high shelf…under the mattress…in your jewelry box, etc.
The safest place to keep your valuables or jewelry that is rarely used is in a safe-deposit box. Other valuables can be hidden in places robbers don’t think to look-for example, under removable ceiling tiles, in the freezer or even in the garage. There are everyday items such as soup cans…books…soda cans…. household products and food containers with removable tops and bottoms. Valuables can be discreetly stored inside these look-a-like containers and kept in their seemingly rightful places. Each is undistinguishable from the genuine product and is even weighted to feel full. These containers are called DIVERSION SAFES or Decoy safes.
Don’t hide all your valuables in one place. The burglar is less likely to find everything if you hide items in different places.

When I hear or see the words personal alarm, I automatically think of my family, my loved ones and me. A personal alarm is either electronic or aerosol that releases an extremely high pitched sound. Depending upon the alarm it will emit an ear piercing 100-130db blast. The alarm would surprise or distract an attacker and worry them about attracting attention, making an impending criminal cower and run. It’s highly unlikely that an attacker would pursue a person who sounds like a siren going off. Criminals do not like to attract attention, and will most likely run away when the alarm will not stop.
Carrying a personal alarm is the safest and most effective way of protecting yourself. It is an excellent protective device for people who are uncomfortable with using spray devices or stun guns. It is small enough to hold in your hand or clip it to a belt or purse and it requires no training or permits to carry one. Personal alarms cannot be used against you as an offensive weapon. A personal alarm device can be used by anyone regardless of your age or physical condition.
You can carry a personal alarm with you wherever you go. They are legal to carry everywhere (even on airplanes)
These alarms also protect students on campuses. Rates of attack and rape on college campuses are higher than you’d imagine. Students attending large schools need extra personal protection.
Seniors and disabled persons are excellent candidates for a personal alarm. An alarm can be easily attached to a wheelchair.
Runners, joggers, cyclists, can all take advantage of feeling safe while in remote areas or against vicious dogs or wild animals.
Personal alarms are perfect for shift workers, parking structures and underground parking areas. Keeping a personal alarm device on you at all times is highly recommended by Police Officers, Campus Security and Security Advisors, especially if you are alone or feel threatened at any time. Simply activate the alarm to protect yourself and your belongings.
Using a personal alarm is surely a worthwhile device to potentially save your life, or the life of your loved ones, young or old. Put yourself at ease knowing you can easily bring attention by simply sounding a personal alarm. You don’t have to fear for your safety.

Perhaps you want to purchase or already own a Stun Gun or Taser® there is ONE main thing to consider, the LAW! Not all states treat the ownership or possession of a Stun Gun or Taser® in the same manner. In some states these items are illegal, or restricted in some of the counties of that state. Other state laws may require you to purchase the item through a registered dealer. A Stun Gun or Taser® may be legal in your state but, BEWARE, if you cross a state line with it on your person or in a vehicle you may face criminal charges, such as Michigan, you would be slapped with a felony charge as they are illegal in that state. SDS Technology encourages the use of a Stun Gun or Taser® where they are legal to own and carry. These Self-Defense and Security items are a great choice for your non-lethal personal protection. However, we strongly recommend checking your local and STATE LAWS. PROTECT YOURSELF!
